	For many months the Rubbish and Recycling Committee has been investigating ways to help the Town of Burrillville reduce waste disposal costs and improve recycling rates. The State of Rhode Island has mandated that towns have a recycling rate of 35% by 2012. After considerable research, the Committee has made a recommendation to the Burrillville Town Council. Attached you will find their recommendation submitted to the Town Council on May 21, 2010 as well as their presentation to the Town Council at their meeting of June 21, 2010.
