TIRES
Tires may be dropped off FREE OF CHARGE at the Whipple Avenue Compost Facility during normal hours of operation.
TIRES MUST BE OFF THE RIM OR THEY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
ONLY FOUR (4) TIRES ARE ALLOWED PER RESIDENT

Mon – Fri 6:00 am to 3:45 pm
Sat 6:00 am to Noon
There is a $7.00 per tire charge and a charge of $75.00 for “over-sized, off-road tires.
USED MOTOR OIL
Used motor oil may be dropped off at the Department of Public Works located at 65 Union Avenue between 6:30 am and 3:00 pm Monday thru Friday.
NO MORE THAN FIVE (5) GALLONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT ONE TIME
Residents must check in at the office before dropping off oil in the oil igloo. NO OTHER CHEMICALS ARE PERMITTED IN THE OIL IGLOO. One contaminated load of oil can cost the Town up to $500.00 to dispose. Uncontaminated loads are emptied free of
charge.

USED OIL FILTERS & AUTO BATTERIES
Used oil filters and auto batteries can be dropped off at the Department of Public Works Monday thru Friday 6:30 am to 3:00 pm
ANTI-FREEZE
Used anti-freeze can also be dropped off at the Department of Public Works.
Residents can empty their anti-freeze bottles into the Drum. NO OTHER CHEMICALS ARE PERMITTED IN THE ANTI-FREEZE DRUM.
