Most of us are conscious of recycling when we are in the kitchen, but what about common bathroom items?
The next time you empty out your medicine chest, check the bottom of the bottles. If you see
or and the container neck is smaller than the base, this means the container can be placed in the BLUE BIN and recycled. Please make sure all cans & bottles are empty of product before disposal.
Let’s not forget the empty toilet paper roll, and Ladies – mascara, lipstick, makeup, etc…much of this comes wrapped in a cardboard package. The cardboard is recyclable and can be placed in the GREEN BIN.
ONLY PLASTIC CONTAINERS WITH THE NUMBER 1 OR 2 CAN BE RECYCLED (THE CONTAINER NECK MUST BE SMALLER THAN THE BASE).
Items with #3 - 7 cannot go in the recycle bin. ~Please dispose in the trash or bring to Whole Foods in Cranston for recycling.
