How to Obtain a Recycle Bin or Additional Setout Sticker


	If you are a NEW home owner in the Town of Burrillville, you are entitled to 2 recycle bins, free of charge. Proof of ownership within 30 days required. Please come to the Department of Public Works to pick up a blue bin for glass/plastic/metal recyclables and a green bin for papers/cardboard. The DPW is located at: 65 Union Avenue Harrisville, RI 02830 401-568-4440 x 12 Monday – Friday 6:30 am to 3:00 pm Additional or replacement bins may be purchased for $6.00 each at the IGA (Brigido's) in Pascoag, the Town Hall Annex, and the Department of Public Works - the DPW does not take credit cards--cash or check w/driver's license only. What do I do with my old, broken bins? Please bring them to the Whipple Ave Compost Facility and put in the Rigid Plastic dumpster so they can be recycled! Residents may use other and/or additional containers for their recyclables. To do so, residents MUST obtain "Extra Recycling" stickers to attach to their containers. Stickers are FREE OF CHARGE and are avialable at the Jesse Smith Library, the Town Hall, and the Department of Public Works. If the recycle hauler has damaged your bins, please call Coastal Recycling at 1-800-266-3188 for replacement.
