The building that houses the Town of Burrillville Town Hall Annex located at 144 Harrisville Main Street, in Harrisville, was dedicated to the memory of Carlton F. Brown on December 12, 2009.
Mr. Brown was the Town Treasurer for 33 years before retiring in 1982. A decorated veteran of World War II, Mr. Brown lived in Burrillville for most of his life.

The Board of Administration meets at 7:00 p.m . on the first Tuesday of every month, at the Carlton Brown Building.
The Board of Administration has the responsibility of overseeing the care and maintenance of the Town Buildings that were so graciously donated by Mr. Austin T. Levy.
The Assembly Building Theatre is available for rental for private functions as well as the American Legion Hall, located near the Town Hall.
